Marshall and Paris are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2017, but not for long. The Lions will face off against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Marshall has four straight victories, Paris has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

It was a proper cat-fight when Marshall faced off against Richland County on Tuesday. The Lions came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Paris didn't have quite enough to beat Salt Fork on Wednesday and fell 2-1.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-27, 25-23.

Paris' defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Marshall, their win bumped their record up to 16-6.
