Basketball Recap: Northern Garrett Comes Up Short

Northern Garrett played a tough match on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Fort Hill Sentinels, falling 82-40. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Sentinels: they've now lost nine in a row.

Northern Garrett's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Fort Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Looking ahead, Northern Garrett will square off against Shanksville Stonycreek at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fort Hill, they will take on McConnellsburg at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. McConnellsburg will roll in looking for their 19th straight win, something Fort Hill surely won't give up without a fight.
