Softball Preview: Woodland Beavers vs. Ridgefield Spudders

The Woodland Beavers will challenge the Ridgefield Spudders at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Woodland made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Columbia River, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Beavers blew past the Rapids 13-5 on Friday. The Beavers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

Addi Christensen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up five earned runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-5. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
