Basketball Game Preview: Lanier Longhorns vs. Milton Eagles + Official Tickets

The Lanier Longhorns will take on the Milton Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Lanier: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Milton has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.

Lanier is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Chattahoochee on Tuesday as they made off with an 87-61 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Longhorns' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Cougars are ranked 336th).

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Milton took on Furtah Prep on Saturday. The Eagles took down the Falcons 69-52.

Lanier's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Milton, their win bumped their record up to 18-5.
