It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Falfurrias can now relate to. They were dealt a 70-42 defeat at the hands of the Aransas Pass Panthers on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent loss being a 70-42 defeat on Tuesday.

Falfurrias' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of TJ Forest, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds, and Quisto Sanchez, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine boards. Sanchez's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Even though they lost, Falfurrias smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in five consecutive matchups.

Falfurrias' defeat dropped their record down to 20-13. As for Aransas Pass, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-12.
