Basketball Game Preview: Ribault Trojans vs. Orange Park Raiders

The Ribault Trojans will take on the Orange Park Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Ribault put up the most points they have all season on Tuesday. They walked away with an 81-71 win over First Coast. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Buccaneers: they've now won nine in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ribault to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ian Beaufort, who posted 21 points. Zion Hall was another key player, going 6-for-11 to rack up 15 points.

Meanwhile, Orange Park posted their closest win since January 15th last Friday. They skirted past Bartram Trail 62-59.

Ribault's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Orange Park, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Ribault came out on top in a nail-biter against Orange Park when the teams last played back in December of 2022, sneaking past 43-41. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
