Freeman strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the College Place Hawks by a score of 5-0.

Kaylee Ripke was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 14 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.

Ripke wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Isabel Silva, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Another was Rilyn Ripke, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Freeman's record now sits at 16-0. As for College Place, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-3.

Freeman and College Place should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. The Scotties (ranked 31st) will meet Colfax (ranked 135th) at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, College Place will square off against Kiona-Benton at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (35 vs. 106).
