Basketball Recap: Morgan Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Morgan waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Ogden Tigers by a score of 47-40. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-41 back in January.

Morgan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kamry Wardell, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds. Wardell is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Zoe Rockenfield, who posted 14 points and six assists.

Morgan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 15 offensive rebounds in six consecutive games.

Morgan's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Ogden, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Morgan will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on the 14th.
