Basketball Game Preview: South Beloit Sobos vs. Durand Bulldogs

South Beloit hasn't had much luck against Durand recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The South Beloit Sobos will host the Durand Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Monday, South Beloit ended up a good deal behind Dakota and lost 42-27. The Sobos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Durand was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by Lena-Winslow 59-27. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly 32 points.

South Beloit now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Durand, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-21.

South Beloit barely slipped by Durand in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 37-36. Will South Beloit repeat their success, or does Durand have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
