Flag Football Game Preview: O'Connor Eagles vs. Boulder Creek Jaguars + Official Tickets

The O'Connor Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Boulder Creek Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (O'Connor has three straight victories, Boulder Creek has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Boulder Creek better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if O'Connor's game on Tuesday is any indication, that's when O'Connor really gets things going. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 34-10 margin over Pinnacle. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 24 points or more this season.

O'Connor didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Ava Hannosh and Becky Currence were the leaders of the group effort as each produced two apiece. Alivia Escalera also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 17. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Boulder Creek faced off against Liberty on Thursday. The Jaguars took a 17-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.

O'Connor's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Boulder Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

O'Connor took their victory against Boulder Creek in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 21-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
