Recap: Kokomo HomeSchool Eagles vs. Fort Wayne HomeSchool Hawks
On Tuesday, the Kokomo HomeSchool Eagles faced the Fort Wayne HomeSchool Hawks in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Kokomo HomeSchool fell 62-51 to Fort Wayne HomeSchool. The defeat was just more heartbreak for Kokomo HomeSchool, who fell 68-66 when the teams last met back in November of 2022.
Kokomo HomeSchool's loss came despite strong showings from Jude Hogsett and David Hart. Hogsett scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds, while Hart scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds. The game was Hogsett's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Dane Beery was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Kokomo HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Fort Wayne HomeSchool, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Kokomo HomeSchool will square off against Anderson HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Anderson HomeSchool is ranked 16th, while Kokomo HomeSchool is ranked 19th). As for Fort Wayne HomeSchool, they will head out on the road to face off against HomeSchool Resource Center at 12:40 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully HomeSchool Resource Center focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.
