They managed a 38-32 win over Mount St. Mary Academy. For Mount Mercy Academy, this counts as revenge for the 60-14 loss Mount St. Mary Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Mount Mercy Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Claire Przybyszewski, who scored 16 points. It was the first time this season that Przybyszewski scored 15 or more points. Alexis Dintino was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Mount Mercy Academy's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-9. As for Mount St. Mary Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
Mount Mercy Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-35 loss vs. Jamestown on the 9th. Mount St. Mary Academy has also already played their next matchup, a 36-28 loss against Nardin Academy on the 9th.
