Basketball Recap: Omaha Christian Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Mari Keuck and Emma Wheelock

Omaha Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the College View Academy Eagles, falling 42-20. That's two games in a row now that Omaha Christian Academy has lost by exactly 22 points.

Emma Wheelock and Mari Keuck certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Wheelock posted ten points, while Keuck had six points along with nine boards and four steals. Wheelock is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played.

Omaha Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for College View Academy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Omaha Christian Academy will square off against Omaha Nation on Tuesday. As for College View Academy, they will face off against Boys Town at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. College View Academy's defense has only allowed 28.5 points per game this season, so Boys Town's offense will have their work cut out for them.
