Volleyball Recap: Brookings Takes a Loss

Brookings lost against Spearfish back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bobcats fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Brookings' loss dropped their record down to 9-20. As for Spearfish, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 18-11.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Brookings will challenge rival Pierre T.F. Riggs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Spearfish is set to square off against their familiar foe Rapid City Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
