Soccer Recap: Archbishop Mccarthy Wins Going Away Against Hollywood Hills

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Archbishop McCarthy had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 6-0 margin over the Hollywood Hills Spartans. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Mavericks' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Hollywood Hills with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jadiel Angel Tamayo (2), Jerson Dulis Jr (2), Aleaxander Navarro, and Emilio Arias.

Archbishop McCarthy's victory bumped their record up to 4-6-3. As for Hollywood Hills, they now have a losing record at 6-7-3.

Archbishop McCarthy will square off against Pembroke Pines Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pembroke Pines Charter will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Archbishop McCarthy surely won't give up without a fight. Hollywood Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
