Volleyball Recap: Polytechnic Comes Up Short

Polytechnic came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the North Side Steers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Steers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-11.

Polytechnic's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-15. As for North Side, their win bumped their record up to 13-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Polytechnic will square off against Paschal at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Parrots surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Side, they will face off against South Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
