Basketball Game Preview: Thompsonville vs. Zeigler-Royalton Tornadoes

Thompsonville just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Zeigler-Royalton Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Thompsonville came up short against Norris City-Omaha-Enfield and fell 54-42.

Meanwhile, Zeigler-Royalton played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 77-28 loss at the hands of Vienna. The defeat continues a trend for the Tornadoes in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost eight in a row.

Zeigler-Royalton's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Thompsonville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
