Volleyball Recap: Bowsher Comes Up Short

Bowsher came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Lima Senior Spartans, falling 3-0. The BlueRacers haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Alisandra Vanmeter went supernova For Lima Senior., getting 18 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Vanmeter has posted over her last six contests.

Bowsher's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Lima Senior, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Bowsher and Rogers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lima Senior, they will welcome Continental at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
