Volleyball Recap: Walden Grove Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Walden Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts, falling 3-0. The Red Wolves were not able to make up for their loss to the Thunderbolts from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Mica Mountain found their leader in sophomore MIA PARKER, who had 26 assists and five digs. The team also got some help courtesy of CASSIDY DICKHERBER, who had 11 assists and four digs.

Walden Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Mica Mountain, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Walden Grove and Mica Mountain will both be playing Ironwood Ridge the next time they take the court. The Thunderbolts will host the Nighthawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Red Wolves will host them at 6:30 p.m. on the 14th.
