Recap: Fort Benton/Highwood vs. Big Sandy Pioneers
On Friday, Fort Benton/Highwood came up short against Big Sandy and fell 49-36.
Eva Yeadon was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 15 rebounds for Big Sandy. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiera Galbavy, who scored four points along with four blocks and three steals.
Fort Benton/Highwood's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Big Sandy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Box Elder the next time they take the court. Big Sandy will head out to face Box Elder at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Fort Benton/Highwood will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
