Lompoc gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. Everything went their way against the Nipomo Titans as the Lompoc Braves made off with a 30-7 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Braves as it put an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Jacob Manzo had a dynamite game for Lompoc, rushing for 113 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 49 yards and a touchdown. Marcus Bailon was another key player, rushing for 75 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.

Bailon wasn't the only one working in the rushing yards department: Lompoc was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 243 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nipomo only rushed for 56.

Lompoc will face off against Santa Ynez at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nipomo, they will be playing at home against Righetti at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
