Hayfield is 8-1 against Justice since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wolves at 6:00 p.m. Hayfield is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.7 runs per game this season.

The home team had won the previous seven meetings between Hayfield and Edison, and Hayfield kept the tradition alive. The Hawks walked away with an 8-4 win over the Eagles on Monday.

Noah Laster looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jacob Bueno, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Watson, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Hayfield was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Falls Church hit Justice with a six-run first inning two weeks ago, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wolves took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars.

Justice has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.2 runs over those games. As for Hayfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Hayfield took their victory against Justice in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 19-4 score. Do the Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
