Football Recap: Florida State University High School Finds Playoff Glory Versus Baldwin + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Florida State University High School had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the Baldwin Indians by a score of 42-31. The victory was some much needed relief for the Seminoles as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Florida State University High School found their leader in sophomore Jayme Miller, who threw for 170 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 35 yards and one score. Another player making a difference was Michael Jones, who rushed for 89 yards and a pair of TDs.

Baldwin lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Stephen Screws, who threw for 307 yards and four touchdowns. John Harvey was Screws' top target, picking up 111 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Florida State University High School's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Baldwin, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.

Coming up, Florida State University High School will challenge Bolles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Seminoles will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. Baldwin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
