Elkhorn is 9-1 against Wilmot since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Elks will head out on the road to square off against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Elkhorn is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

Elkhorn is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They fell 10-5 to Union Grove. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Marlee Wester made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Ellie Jacobson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wilmot, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 17-12 win over Beloit Memorial on Monday. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Elkhorn's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Wilmot, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-11.

Elkhorn was able to grind out a solid win over Wilmot when the teams last played on April 3rd, winning 8-4. Will the Elks repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
