Roosevelt had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.5 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They breezed by the Greeley Central Wildcats to the tune of 72-24. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Roughriders just coasted through the last quarter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Roosevelt to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyla Hollier, who went 10 of 21 on her way to 23 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Hollier's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 23 points. Ryanne Bahnsen-Price was another key player, going 8 for 20 en route to 18 points and five steals.

Roosevelt smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in seven consecutive matchups.

Despite the loss, Greeley Central had strong showings from Aaniya Davis, who posted 11 points and three steals, and Rose 'Suzette' Rivera-Flores, who scored two points. Davis is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last five games she's played.

Roosevelt pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points over those games. As for Greeley Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Looking ahead, Roosevelt will square off against Mountain View at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Roosevelt is facing Mountain View at the right time seeing as Mountain View is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Greeley Central, they will face off against Wellington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greeley Central will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Wellington will have lost 15 straight heading into Tuesday's match.
