Recap: Parsons Vikings vs. Hayden Wildcats
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Parsons Vikings can now relate to. They took a serious blow against Hayden on Friday, falling 64-19. Parsons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Several Vikings players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was JJ Kendrick, who picked up 121 receiving yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Jahmarion Washington, who rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown.
Parsons' defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Hayden, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Parsons does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hayden will square off against Holton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Holton is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
