Wellington's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Seminole Ridge Hawks 3-0. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

One reason for the win was Wellington's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-18, 25-17.

Nicole Koch paced Wellington's offense, picking up 15 kills. Koch got some help from Faith DiMaria and her 18 assists. Jillian St Leger controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The win got Wellington back to even at 7-7. As for Seminole Ridge, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 6-10.

Wellington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Park Vista on the 30th. As for Seminole Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Boca Raton on the 26th.
