Baseball Recap: Baldwin Park Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Baldwin Park and Bosco Tech squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Baldwin Park had to settle for second. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Braves couldn't push the score so high this time.

Baldwin Park saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julian Huerta, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Baldwin Park's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Bosco Tech, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 21 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Baldwin Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bosco Tech, they will welcome Flintridge Prep at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
