Ganesha waltzed into their match on Monday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Edgewood Lions a 17-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Giants, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Ganesha got a great performance from Kalena Lemus as she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Lemus has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single hit in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Brooklyn Game was a standout: she scored four runs while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three). Lacy VanTuinen was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, one triple, and two RBI.

Ganesha kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in 12 consecutive contests.

Ganesha pushed their record up to 15-4-1 with the win, which was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Edgewood, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Ganesha didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-0 win against La Puente on the 15th. As for Edgewood, they have also already played their next game, a 14-3 victory against Workman on the 15th.
