Brownstown/St. Elmo came into Thursday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Neoga Indians on Thursday. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Brownstown/St. Elmo easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11.

Their offense was headlined by Addie Sasse and Presley Williams, who picked up four kills apiece. Sasse really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with six. Macey Sapp controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Brownstown/St. Elmo's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Neoga, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 15 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

Brownstown/St. Elmo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Elverado on the 27th. As for Neoga, they will square off against Central A & M at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
