Soccer Recap: Scholars Guild Academy Wins Going Away Against Young Americans Christian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lanier Christian Academy, Scholars Guild Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 6-1 margin over the Young Americans Christian Eagles. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Spartans' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Their offense was hitting Young Americans Christian from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Natalee Rumble led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Scholars Guild Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Young Americans Christian, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scholars Guild Academy will welcome Creekside Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Young Americans Christian, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against United Home Schoolers at 4:00 p.m.
