Football Recap: Crisp Academy Wildcats vs. Grace Christian Academy Cougars
Crisp Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by the Grace Christian Academy Cougars 76-46. One positive for the Wildcats, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Owen Earnest was a one-man wrecking crew for Grace Christian Academy as he rushed for 240 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 347 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 15.8 yards per attempt. Earnest really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run. Dawson Worsley did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 207 receiving yards.
Crisp Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Grace Christian Academy, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-8.
As of now, neither Crisp Academy nor Grace Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
