Joplin blew Marshfield out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Marshfield got their revenge. The Eagles fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 7-5. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Joplin's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Marshfield, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 22-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Joplin will welcome Nevada at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Marshfield, they will take on Mt. Vernon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
