Volleyball Recap: Saint Ignatius College Prep Comes Up Short

Saint Ignatius College Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Shepard Astros. The Wolfpack were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Astros apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

Tyler Graff paced Saint Ignatius College Prep's offense, picking up five kills. Graff got some help from Campbell Hahn and his 20 assists.

Saint Ignatius College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 7-22. As for Shepard, their victory bumped their record up to 16-13.

Saint Ignatius College Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Richards on the 10th. As for Shepard, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Naperville Central on the 10th.
