The Greer Yellow Jackets will head out to square off against the Travelers Rest Devildogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greer is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Greer easily dispatched Greenville H on Thursday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Yellow Jackets fell just short of Berea by a score of 7-5 on Friday.

Adison Howard was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Merritt, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Travelers Rest's good fortune finally ran out last Thursday. They fell 7-2 to Seneca. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Devildogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Travelers Rest saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa Capps, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Greer's record now sits at 7-7. As for Travelers Rest, their record is now 7-9.

Greer got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March against Travelers Rest by a conclusive 11-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellow Jackets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
