Basketball Recap: Ayersville Takes a Loss

Ayersville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 58-32 to the Hicksville Aces. The Pilots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-7.

Despite the defeat, Ayersville saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kendyl Booher almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.

Ayersville's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Hicksville, their victory bumped their record up to 7-15.

Ayersville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hicksville, they have already played their next match, a 54-27 defeat against Patrick Henry on the 13th.
