Volleyball Recap: Crooms Academy Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Crooms Academy duked it out with Oviedo on Thursday. The Panthers came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

Keylon Sue paced Crooms Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Sue got some help from Devon Miller and his nine assists.

Crooms Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Oviedo, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crooms Academy will venture away from home to square off against Seminole at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers are facing the Seminoles at the right time seeing as the Seminoles are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Oviedo, they are taking a road trip to face off against Hagerty at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
