Soccer Game Preview: Keys vs. Porter

Keys hasn't had much luck against Porter recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Pirates at 5:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

It was a proper cat-fight when Keys duked it out with Fort Gibson on Tuesday. The Cougars came up short against the Tigers, falling 10-0. Keys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Porter kept a clean sheet against Sequoyah on Tuesday. They beat the Eagles by a goal, winning 1-0. The game was the first time Porter have beaten Sequoyah on their pitch since March 27, 2015.

Keys now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Porter, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-4.

Keys suffered a grim 6-2 defeat to Porter in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
