Miami put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 77-16 victory over the Lefors Pirates. The Warriors' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Miami to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jack Kotara, who threw for 102 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Kotara was even better on defense, forcing one fumble and making 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss). Tyler Anderson was in the mix too, providing Miami with two scores.

Miami was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 214 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 174 rushing yards in seven consecutive contests.

Miami's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Lefors, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Miami will head out to challenge Groom at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.33 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Lefors does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
