If Salem Academy Charter was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Notre Dame Cristo Rey on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Navigator came up short against the Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School Hawks on Friday, falling 10-4. The Navigator's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Salem Academy Charter saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Solano, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Jordan Libby also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Salem Academy Charter now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School, they moved to 6-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
