Basketball Game Preview: Flowing Wells Caballeros vs. Cienega Bobcats

Flowing Wells is 0-5 against Cienega since December of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Flowing Wells Caballeros will look to defend their home court against the Cienega Bobcats at 7:00 p.m.

Flowing Wells' tournament run continued when they took on Crismon back in December of 2024. Flowing Wells took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Crismon.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cienega). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Sahuarita 94-45. The win was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Cienega pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.0 points per game. As for Flowing Wells, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Flowing Wells lost to Cienega at home by a decisive 69-52 margin in their previous meeting back in December of 2021. Thankfully for Flowing Wells, Ben Kmak (who posted 14 points and seven assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
