Basketball Recap: Daniel Gets the Win

Daniel won the last time they faced Berea, and Will Swann did his part to make sure it happened again. The Daniel Lions walked away with a 75-63 victory over the Berea Bulldogs on Wednesday thanks in part to Swann, who went 10 of 17 on his way to 25 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Daniel's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Berea, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Daniel will face off against Pickens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Daniel's favor as the squad sits on eight straight wins at home while Pickens has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. As for Berea, they will challenge Blue Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
