Volleyball Recap: Great Bridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Great Bridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Indian River Braves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Great Bridge took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 20-25, 20-25, 25-19, 15-11.

Great Bridge's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Indian River, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Great Bridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Indian River, they will face off against Granby at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
