Soccer Game Preview: Cedartown vs. Coosa

The Cedartown Bulldogs will head out to challenge the Coosa Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coosa took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Cedartown, who comes in off a win.

Cedartown will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Calhoun, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. Cedartown's defense stepped up to hand Calhoun a 4-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

They hit Calhoun with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jason Ramirez, Gabriel Atkins, Jose Torres, and Otoniel Ramirez.

Meanwhile, Coosa didn't have quite enough to beat Sonoraville on Friday and fell 2-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cedartown's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Coosa, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Cedartown took their victory against Coosa when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 5-2. In that contest, Cedartown amassed a halftime lead of 3-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
