Baseball Recap: Leadership Academy Wins Going Away Against Bethany Community

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Leadership Academy and Bethany Community, and Leadership Academy kept the tradition alive. The Falcons put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 9-0 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won six contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Hank Gaston, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Leadership Academy is undefeated when Gaston posts three or more RBI, but 8-9 otherwise. Jafet Rodriguez was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
