Volleyball Game Preview: Atlantic Christian Sharks vs. Highlands Christian Knights

After both having extra time off, the Atlantic Christian Sharks and the Highlands Christian Knights will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Last Friday, Atlantic Christian made easy work of American Heritage and carried off a 3-0 win.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Highlands Christian got the win against North Broward Prep last Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Highlands Christian was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 25-13.

Atlantic Christian better focus on containing Henry De Andrade and Corbin Shein as the pair were huge in Highlands Christian's win. De Andrade had seven aces and three digs, while Shein had 21 assists and three digs. Those seven aces gave De Andrade a new career-high.

Atlantic Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Highlands Christian's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.
