Basketball Recap: Landen Griffith Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Chelsea

With a playoff win on the line, Talihina rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 57-45 win over the Chelsea Dragons.

Talihina's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Landen Griffith led the charge by putting up 14 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Eric Rose, who went 5-for-8 on his way to 13 points and five boards.

Griffith wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Talihina was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Talihina's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Chelsea, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Talihina nor Chelsea have any future games scheduled.
