Basketball Game Preview: Gilmer Buckeyes vs. Pine Tree Pirates

The Gilmer Buckeyes will venture away from home to square off against the Pine Tree Pirates at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Gilmer has now lost 14 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since November 9.

Meanwhile, Pine Tree came up short against Chapel Hill on Tuesday and fell 45-38. The Pirates have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Gilmer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Pine Tree, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-5.
