Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Atoka). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Morris Eagles on Friday, sneaking past 49-46. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wampus Cats considering their seven-point performance the contest before.

Atoka's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Morris, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Atoka will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Valliant at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Morris, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Antlers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Bearcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.2 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
