Basketball Recap: Life Waxahachie Comes Up Short

Life Waxahachie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kennedale Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1195th, while the Wildcats are ranked 418th).

Life Waxahachie's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Kennedale, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-13.

Life Waxahachie will take on Ferris at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kennedale, they will face off against Venus at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
